“I've worked in the mental health and addiction field for over 14 years. I can honestly say that Shelli is one of the most brilliant therapists that I have ever met. She is very skilled in working with complex situations and is able to utilize various modalities to approach each individual that she works with.” - Rachel, Los Angeles, CA
The Roadmap
Hi, I'm Shelli.
I believe healing is more than surviving what happened to you.
It's becoming who God created you to be.
For years, I've sat across from people carrying stories of betrayal, abuse, rejection, shame, and loss. Many have spent decades believing the lies those experiences whispered to them:
"I'm too much."
"I'm not enough."
"This is just who I am."
"I'll never change."
Here's what I've learned.
Your story may explain you, but it does not have to define you.
I don't believe we are merely victims of our circumstances. Neither do I believe we should carry shame for what was done to us. Real healing happens when we honor the wounds we've endured while courageously taking responsibility for the patterns that keep us stuck.
That's where transformation begins.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, coach, writer, and follower of Jesus, my passion is helping people move beyond awareness into lasting change. I integrate psychology, attachment theory, neuroscience, trauma recovery, and biblical truth to help people reconnect with their identity, strengthen discernment, establish healthy boundaries, and build relationships that reflect freedom instead of fear.
I don't simply want people to feel better.
I want them to become different.
My work is centered around one mission:
Helping people uncover the lies that shaped them so they can reclaim the life God intended for them.
Whether I'm sitting with a client, writing an article, leading a workshop, or speaking to an audience, my hope is always the same, and that is that people leave with greater clarity, deeper courage, and renewed responsibility for the life they've been entrusted to steward.
Because I believe one of the greatest tragedies isn't that we were wounded.
It's that we spend the rest of our lives living as though the wound gets the final word.
It doesn't.
God is still in the business of restoring identity, renewing minds, and transforming lives.
If you're ready to stop surviving your story and begin living it with purpose, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
